Dinner at Bobby's Burger Palace (Mohegan Sun)

YEAH!!! It's Friday again!!! Steve, Elissa, Brandon, Laura, Kate, RCSIII and I bought the WNBA ticket long time ago and finally the game is on. It's between Seattle STORM & Connecticut SUN. To be honest, I didn't know any players since I never watch WNABA, so I decided to cheer for Seattle since I loved the city and that's where Steve & RCSIII are from. But Before the game, we have to get dinner first.


RCSIII & I have always wanted to try any of Bobby Flay's restaurant. Since he is suppose to know how to make good burgers, we though this place should be a good start. And if we liked it, we can move on to other more upscale restaurants of his. So here we come, Bobby's Burger Palace.

While we were waiting in line, I was worried that I couldn't finished my drink before the game starts. What I had in mind was one of their spiked milk shake options: Vanilla Caramel Bourbon with real whipped cream. So RCSIII went to the bar and ordered this for me and I started to drink while I was still waiting. 

In the beginning, the bitter Bourbon taste was a bit strong for me, but I soon got used to it and the drink became super delicious.

Kate ordered Mocha Kahlua Vodka, and it was also VERY good! I think I might order that next time so that I can finish a whole class of it all by myself.

On the table, there are 5 different sauce: Ketchup, Mustard, BBP burger sauce and 2 others that I don't quite remember. However, I did not use any of them with my burger.

For the burger, I ordered their burger of the month: Mulberry St. Burger. It's fresh Mozzarella, Parmesan, Basil Ketchup, Baby Arugula and their burger patty (I went for medium well--still a bit pink at the center). 

It was DELICIOUS. Hummm...that was a good burger. I think I'd like to go back again. For me, the fresh Mozzarella really did the trick and make everything way better.

RCSIII ended up getting Santa Fe Burger, which he thinks is the style of food that Bobby Flay is known to be good at. The burger is topped with Queso sauce, pickled Jalapeño, and blue corn chips. He said that he liked it.

On the side, RCSIII and I ordered their sweet potato fries (with honey mustard horseradish dip) and normal potato fries (I forgot what special dip came with it). 

The sweet potato fries was REALLY GOOD! Especially the salt on it (you can even see it in the picture) and with the dip.

The potato fries wasn't bad, but just not as good as the sweet potato fries. However, I do prefer sweet  potato more than potato most of the time.
